We hand select specific partner companies to work with in order to bring you discount offers. We only ever work with companies that we use for our own dogs and can personally highly recommend. In some cases, we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you, but our recommendations are always based on what we believe is best for you and your dog.
The harnesses and leads I use with my own dogs. Harnesses are now recognised as a better alternative than attaching a lead directly to collar. They avoid direct pressure on the throat and distribute force more evenly across the body, preventing injuries. However, not all harnesses are equal, some do not fit well and others restrict movement. These harnesses come in three pieces, a Top, Front and Girth, allowing each harness to be tailored to the individual dog. Recommended by trainers, behaviourist, vets and CAM (Canine Arthritis Management) ...and they come in lots of different colours too!

My go to, high-value training reward (I usually have a pouch of Pure Pate with me)! Once opened, keep in fridge and use within 3 days, or cut up, portion and freeze. Just get out a couple of hours before a training sessions!
Slice it – Dice it – Cube it – Cut it – Stuff it – Spread it – Freeze it - Sprinkle it!
Used by the majority of the UK's top trainers, behaviourists and both the English and Welsh agility teams. Made with ONLY the best cuts of premium meat/fish - no offal, no fillers, no herbs, no preservatives, nothing... just top quality meat!
I have a trade account with JR Pet Products and always have a basket of Pure Pate and Pure Training Treats with me and a card reader, so it's there ready if you need to stock up (discounted from RRP too!).
My go-to training toy of choice. Tug games are a high-value reward (we don't always need to use food rewards). Playing with your dog is a powerful activity. As well as improving the bond between you and your dog, play can help solve training and behaviour problems - from nervousness, lack of confidence, to poor recall and a lack of drive. Every Tug-E-Nuff toy is designed by experts to help you have more fun and you'll find a toy suitable for every dog. They are also very strong, here is video showing how they stand up to my wolfdog tug test!
Some dogs, such as some rescues, may struggle with play at first. Reach out if you would like to discuss how to encourage play with your dog.
Taste tested and adored by my dogs! As a Protein Chemist, I am a little obsessed with what we feed our dogs. Diet can cause diseases (like cancer, heart disease, obesity, skin conditions) and affect behaviour... which is why a trainer or behaviourist will always ask you what you feed your dog! But with most commercial dog food, it is impossible to even know what is in it!
I feed my dogs Butternut everyday, which has all the ingredients clearly labelled and are human-grade. There are lots of different recipes to choose from, it is freshly prepared, gently cooked (to remove bacteria and makes food more digestible for dogs) and delivered straight to my door. It has right balance of vitamins and minerals with no added nasties.

Muzzled dogs are still good dogs! Dogs may need to wear a muzzle for a variety of reasons... for legal reasons, if they are scavengers, high chase/prey driven, rough players, uncomfortable around other dogs, for safe guarding, vet visits or post surgery. But it is vital that a muzzle allows your dog to fully pant and drink. This is why I love Muzzle Movement products! Each muzzle features a purpose-built treat hole (for reward based training) and provides ample space for sniffing, drinking and panting to ensure maximum comfort (they also come in lots of different pretty colours!). To ensure your dog will be happy wearing a muzzle, they should always be properly introduced to them before use. Please contact us if you would like help or advice on muzzle training.
Yellow Dog UK promotes awareness and understanding of dogs who need space, also known as “yellow dogs”. These are dogs that may be nervous, in training, recovering from an injury or illness, being rehabilitated or simply dogs that prefer to keep their distance from people and other dogs. Yellow Dog UK offers a range of products, such as yellow vests, leads, lead covers, lead flags etc, to help dog owners signal to others that their dog needs space.
If you would like to discuss if your dog may benefit or just find out more about the scheme, please reach out.
I have used YuMOVE joint care for many years, as preventive measures for my younger dogs and along side veterinary therapies for dog's suffering from osteoarthritis. YuMOVE’s dog joint supplements are vet recommended and contain Omega-3s to help soothe stiff joints. They are tasty daily supplement tablets that I just pop into their feed bowls. Arthritis affects 35% of all dogs over the age of one and YuMOVE have products to support healthy joints for dogs of all ages.
